Our owner chose a slate-looking laminate (Figure). One of the beauties of this type of flooring is that it is a floating floor, which is, it can be placed on an existing right word.
Measure the floor and take this measure in the home store to determine how much you need floor. You want the new flooring to be focused, therefore, from this measure wall to wall from the finish line, dividing this number by the laminated board width. If you are lucky, you end up with an even number. If not, you will need to trim the first and last tips to keep the scheme centered, as in our project.
You must remove the toilet to install a new floor, but the vanity can stay.
Driving under the foam along the wall of departure and cut to length. Driving under the additional foam as necessary during installation.
Prepare the first laminate board with the little tongue side facing the wall (see Figure B).
Tip: Use 1 / 4 “spacers between the stratified and vertical surfaces such as walls, vanity, shower or bath to allow the expansion (Figure C). Do not worry about this space, as you will be covering the latest thanks to the casting.
Tip: Because this word is found in a bathroom, the manufacturer recommends strengthening the joints with a thin bead of glue on top of the tongue only (Figure D).
Installation of the next piece by aligning the ends of the court and clicking on the cards in place (see Figure E). Use a hammer and tapping block to tap the short-term (figure F) lines and lock in place. Be sure to glue each spouse.
After 24 hours, remove the spacers and install molding parts (figure G). Since it is a bathroom, use a silicone caulk to seal the walls and around the toilet, and use caulking and sealing molding around the bathtub. Remember, although many of these products advertise that they just have to click in place, you must use glue on the seams to ensure a watertight seal.
